Meet Our Team

Dr. Victoria Glickman

Optometrist

Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Victoria Glickman attended the University of Houston for her undergraduate studies before going on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2010. While at the College of Optometry, Dr. Glickman gained additional clinical proficiencies, which included a special emphasis in the treatment of surface eye diseases through her work with a variety of optometric practices. She enjoys providing comprehensive family eye care and has a special interest in binocular visual disorders in children. Dr. Glickman has developed a highly regarded reputation for going the extra mile to thoroughly explain exam findings and treatment options.

At InSight EyeCare, Dr. Glickman prescribes glasses and contact lenses, treats eye infections and diseases, co-manages LASIK and cataract patients, and cares for glaucoma, diabetic, and other ocular disorder patients. Her other special interests include hard to fit contacts, especially scleral lenses for keratoconus.

First and foremost, Dr. Glickman is proud to be a Texan. She enjoys discussing any and all subjects regarding food. Dr. Glickman is an active member in the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Donald J. Norcini

Optometrist

Dr. Donald J. Norcini, founder of Insight Eyecare, attended both The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Houston, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977. He received his Doctorate with honors from The University of Houston College of Optometry in 1981. While at the University, he completed internships at Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs and Riverside Health Clinic in Houston. He is past president of The Student Texas Optometric Association, served as a liaison between his class and the administration, and was the lone student representative for the College’s Admission Department. He was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key International upon graduation from The College of Optometry.

Dr. Norcini has been in private practice since 1981, where he counts many of his patients now as being third and even fourth generation patients. He practices all levels of Optometry currently licensed by the State of Texas, which includes general vision exams, contact lenses, including specialty contact lens fits, pediatric vision, and all eye diseases, both external and internal that do not require surgery. He is also certified to treat glaucoma. As a founding board member of TLC Laser Eye Center of Texas in Houston, he has years of experience in the co-management of laser eye corrections. He has recently joined with Dr. Whitsett and Dr. McKey in opening their third ophthalmological practice in Spring, Texas, where he assists in the management of their cataract, LASIK, and medical eye care patients.  Cataract co-management is one of the activities that he especially enjoys with his patients.

Dr. Norcini is a member of both the Texas and American Optometric Association, and enjoys enhancing his skills by attending numerous educational seminars to keep himself and his staff up to date. He is married with two adult children, two grandchildren, two Yorkies, and two rescue dogs. He enjoys all types of outdoor activities, especially golf, gardening and photography.
